Board Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Specialist

As a Pensacola native, Dr. Mary Elizabeth (Bush) Joyce is excited to provide our community with the highest level of periodontal and dental implant care. Dr. Joyce attended the IB Program at Pensacola High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, magna cum laude, from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she was awarded for her achievements in periodontics.

Dr. Joyce continued her post-graduate periodontal training at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, LA. During the three-year program, she served as Chief Resident, was recognized with the Billy M. Pennel Award for her research on periodontal regenerative membranes and was awarded the Malbern N. Wilderman award for her clinical achievements in the program. She graduated with a certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and a Master of Science in Dentistry.

Dr. Joyce is board certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery by the American Board of Periodontology. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Southern Academy of Periodontology, and several other state and local organizations. Dr. Joyce and her husband, Tim, are proud to call Pensacola home. They enjoy spending time with friends and family in the area.
